Carrie Rebora Barratt is associate director for Collections and Administration at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Carrie began working at the Metropolitan in 1984 as a summer intern. Until 2009 she held the position of curator of American Paintings and Sculpture and organized a number of exhibitions, such as American Stories: Paintings of Everyday Life 1765–1915 (2009–10), and has written many articles and books, including American Miniatures in The Metropolitan Museum of Art (2009).
